Welcome to my web-site and I truly hope you find something you like. My name is Raymond Thomas but my friends call me Ray. I was born in Birmingham, Alabama and moved to Lakeland, Florida when I was 4. Joined the navy during WWII and served as a Radio Gunner on the SB2C Dive Bomber. After the war I returned home and finished high school. Promptly went to work, got married and raised a family. I spent 24 years as a phosphate metallurgist and the rest of my career as a Sheriffs Deputy corrections officer here in Lakeland. My wife Alice and I live in Lakeland, Florida to this day and really enjoy this part of the country we call home. I’m a retired and she’s a retired medical transcriber. In our 56 years of marriage we have been through about everything that life has to offer and were still together in love. We have 4 daughters Lynn (55), Debbie (50), Cathy (46) and Laurie (44). Being their Daddy remains one of my biggest successes as well as being a Grandfather to 3 boys and 2 girls.
In my spare time I enjoy hunting, fishing, metal detecting, gardening and composing music. In our retirement community I serve as the maintenance chairman, which keeps me busy, however I remain engaged in my various internet businesses which can help you generate extra money. I hope you look them over carefully and find something that you feel will work for you. Check back soon as this spring looks to be very exciting in regards to some very lucrative opportunities I will be offering.
Along with my family I’m proud of becoming a Christian and being active in my church.
